| The Lavender Fairy |
Here is my favorite fairy . This is a plate from the Bradford Exchange, based on the works of Cicely Mary Barker.
The poem on the back is:
Lavender's blue, diddle diddle,
so goes the song;
All around her bush, diddle diddle,
Butterflies throng.
They love her so well, diddle diddle
So do the bees:
While she herself, diddle diddle
Sways in the breeze.
